Capturing a bowl of fruit on canvas is a beautiful thing! Still lifes make great subjects because they are colorful, have various types of texture and most of all they don't move when you are painting them!  Arrangement is the key to a successful painting.

My love for art started at an early age of five. I was fasinated by the beautiful colors and shapes of flowers and trees.  I would often sit outside with my drawing pad and try duplicating nature in pencil.  Later in life as I matured I ventured off into other things such as working and later marriage and family. Now that I'm much older I'm even more intriged by life's beauties and I can't put my paint brush down!
