Keeping your head to the sky.  A great way to survive in this world. By the way, have you ever taken a good look at the formation of clouds and how beautiful they are with different color combinations?

This is an abstract painting of flowers.  The painting was really very simple.  I started with a painted canvas and after making a round bowl I added splashes of colors for flowers.

Winter and mountains

This painting was somewhat of a challenge to me. Mountains can be difficult and sometimes frustrating because you have to add texture to the painting to make it look real. This is it and Im still practicing. Practice makes perfect!

Mountains

Painting mountains is always a challenge! You really have to add depth and texture for dimensional effects.

Still lifes

Capturing a bowl of fruit on canvas is a beautiful thing! Still lifes make great subjects because they are colorful, have various types of texture and most of all they don't move when you are painting them!  Arrangement is the key to a successful painting.

My love for art started at an early age of five. I was fasinated by the beautiful colors and shapes of flowers and trees.  I would often sit outside with my drawing pad and try duplicating nature in pencil.  Later in life as I matured I ventured off into other things such as working and later marriage and family. Now that I'm much older I'm even more intriged by life's beauties and I can't put my paint brush down!
